Brothers
Who remembers the first two brothers of man kind? (according to the holy Bible) and who recalls what this story was supposed to teach us?
Being honest I have never been know for my hermeneutics, specially since I never try to show knowledge on the sacred text.
These are supposed to be hard times, there are supposed to be crazy times… I hardly disagree. Humans are no different today as before Christmas or before last summer. We are all the same humans, we all have the same ideas… we all want to believe that we have made sacrifices in life, that we all deserve a reward from god? For those who believe in that, maybe for the more simple ones, recognition from those we share our life the closest.
The holy Bible is quite interesting most of the time really funny and absurd, there has always been some kind of racism agains “bad people”, Cain has always been depicted with dark hair, beard, dark eyes, a man of evil (just google Cain and Abel)… while Abelito has been always that cute blonde boy on the shadow of the tree the pure victim. Have both brothers made the same sacrifice to please god? And first of all why did they wanted to please him? For sure Cain should not have killed his brother, but he was in need, they were very different and therefore they should not be compared only a fool missing all understanding would try to compare two different things. I mean we could even try to believe that Cain was a vegan, is he the modern Hero we should fight for?
I believe this story has more relevance today as we would like to believe, people going crazy on the stupid toilet paper! Really? has humanity being reduced to talk about paper to rub our arses? Not me…. I quit this BS.
